🎬 The Main Event: Video Festival Lock-In 2026
Get ready for a Hollywood takeover! This year, we’re moving from the kitchen to the director’s chair for our first-ever Youth Group Video Festival.
We’re turning the entire church into a movie studio. You and your crew will have just a few hours to script, film, and edit a masterpiece using secret props and mandatory lines. The night ends with a high-stakes Red Carpet Premiere in the sanctuary to see who takes home the "Gold."
🎮 The Studio "Backlot" (What’s Included)
When you aren't on set, the lobby and youth room are your "Green Rooms" for the night:
The Hub: Multiple video game stations set up for open play and late-night tournaments.
Craft Services: A constant flow of fresh pizza, savory snacks, and a massive sweet bar to keep the energy up.
The Edit Suite: Charging stations and quiet zones to finalize your films before the 1:00 AM deadline.
📋 The Production Schedule
9:00 PM: Check-in & Team Assignments
9:30 PM: The "Pitch": Pick your genre, props, and secret lines.
10:00 PM: FILMING BEGINS. All areas of the church are open for production!
12:00 AM: Midnight Pizza & Post-Production (Editing).
1:30 AM: THE RED CARPET PREMIERE. Awards ceremony and screenings.
2:30 AM: Open Gaming & "Early Sleeper" zones open.
🎒 What to Bring
Your Gear: A smartphone or tablet for filming and a long charging cable.
The Look: Any crazy clothes or costumes you have at home.
The Rest: A sleeping bag and pillow (just in case you actually want to sleep).
